Views

The views are one of the features that makes Denekin special. Denekin overlooks Dunvegan Head which is one of the highest cliffs in the United Kingdom.

You can see the ocean (the Minch) and the islands of the Outer Hebrides range along the horizon - Harris, Berneray and North Uist. Sometimes they are crystal clear and you can see the individual houses. at other times they mingle with the clouds and the haar (sea-mist) and it is hard to distinguish one from the other. The views often include the northern lights in winter and five hour sunsets in summer.

The view may also include our rescue sheep, pigs and chickens!
